The FMWA is a proud participant in the following programs:

Move for Hunger is a non-profit organization that provides an out-of-the-box solution to our nation’s growing hunger problem. While many think of hunger as a problem only facing third-world countries, the statistics in our country are devastating. With so many in need, there has never been a more important time to take action. Move For Hunger is working hard to support the efforts of our nation’s food banks. By teaming up with the relocation companies, we can provide an incredible amount of relief to those who need it most. To date they are working with over 300 relocation companies and over 100 real estate professionals in 41 states. Together, they have collected over 450,000 lbs of food for food banks across America.
The KIDPACK is a back pack program designed to provide food and essential supplies to disadvantaged children in local communities. In cooperation with local schools the "kid pack” program is a highly effective method of delivery of hope and charity to disadvantaged children. The goal is to provide a Kidpack to every registered homeless child in the Polk County School System. Why? The weekends, some children can go the whole weekend without food… In the Polk County School system, there are thousands of children on the reduced lunch program, but a portion of this number are the homeless children who will only eat when fed by the school. Most kids dread Mondays, because they can’t play or spend time outdoors, but there’s another group of kids that anticipate Monday like nothing else, because they get to eat again. Kidpack USA has established a program that will turn a backpack into a food transportation module. Working alongside the hearth program, we have the opportunity to put nutritious meals or snack items in a backpack, or Kidpack, to ensure these kids have adequate food over the weekend.
